Returns and Exchanges
At Holly Days Nursery, we understand that plans can change and issues can arise. To ensure fairness and maintain the quality of our plants and products, please review our return and exchange guidelines before making a purchase.
General Returns
- Returns are accepted on a limited basis and require prior approval from management.
- All returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt.
- Returned merchandise must be in original, saleable condition.
- Plant material must be healthy, properly cared for, and free from damage, neglect, or signs of improper maintenance.
- For delivered plant material, the customer is responsible for transporting the item(s) back to Holly Days Nursery for inspection and return processing.
- Bulk materials, including mulch, stone, soil, and similar products, cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return Timeframe
- Eligible returns must be requested and completed within 48 hours of purchase.
- No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted after 48 hours.
Special Orders
- All special-order plants, materials, and products are final sale.
- Special-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Balled & Burlapped (B&B) and Large Plant Material
- Due to the specialized handling, transportation, and installation requirements of Balled & Burlapped (B&B) trees and shrubs, as well as large container-grown plant material, these items are considered final sale.
- Any exception approved by management must meet all general return requirements and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Management Discretion
Holly Days Nursery reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions outlined above. All returns are subject to management approval.
Holly Days Nursery provides top-quality nursery-grown plants that are disease-free and accurately identified. If a purchased plant becomes ill or dies within six months of purchase and is returned with the original receipt, customers can receive 50% of its original purchase price as credit toward a replacement plant or product at Holly Days Nursery (one-time only). This guarantee applies only if the plant has been planted and cared for according to Holly Days Nursery guidelines.

This guarantee applies exclusively to nursery stock sold at Holly Days Nursery. It does not cover plants kept in containers, items discounted 25% or more, or specific categories such as Perennials, Annuals, Roses, Camellias, Crape Myrtles, Tropicals, Ground Covers, Sod, Southern Magnolia, and broadleaf evergreens planted between November 15 and March 15.
This guarantee excludes damage caused by human actions, animals, drought, flooding, over or under-watering, insects, disease, or unusual acts of nature. To validate the guarantee, you must present the original sales receipt and either the plant itself or a photo of it.
