Mexican Feather Grass (Nassella tenuissima) is a graceful, fine-textured ornamental grass known for its soft, wispy foliage and airy movement in the landscape. Its slender green blades form compact clumps that produce delicate, silvery-green flower panicles, which mature to warm golden tones as the season progresses. Highly drought tolerant once established, this grass thrives in sunny locations with well-drained soil and is an excellent choice for borders, mass plantings, rock gardens, and naturalistic landscapes. Nassella tenuissima adds softness, texture, and constant motion to garden designs as its feathery foliage sways gently in even the lightest breeze.
